SUP!

My name is Styalz Fuego, I am a music producer and songwriter, raised in Byron Bay but now living and working in Melbourne.

My manager Weez explained a little bit about what I do in his post, but to let you know some more: I work from my studio every day, producing tracks/beats for a pretty wide range of different artists, writing songs, and producing original dance tracks and remixes for a couple of projects I am involved in. I like to work across a wide range of genres and different styles of music, but I guess I am mainly known for the music I’ve done within R&B, Hip-Hop and Dance music.

I am super psyched to be working on the Words Not Weapons project with all the schools involved, some great lyrics have been submitted and as we speak I am recording some vocalists and getting these tracks sounding fantastic.

I am glad you guys were able to find some inspiration writing to my beats in the workshops with Mantra and Pez, you guys had some great teachers there!

Really looking forward to you guys hearing the results of these recording sessions and actually getting to hear your songs and ideas come to life through some professional singers and songwriters, would love to hear what you guys think after we have wrapped everything up next week.

Thanks to Mushroom and Live No Fear for putting together such a cool project, it’s always great to have music involved in these sorts of things and glad you guys have embraced it so much.

Big day today. Went to the studio, booked in to put some final vocals down today for 3 of the tracks.  Started at 12.30pm and just walked out of the studio now and its 12.30am.  I guess I just spent 12 hours with a short Nando’s break working on these songs! Definitely a couple I haven’t been able to get out of my head all day haha.

Got a couple of sessions booked tomorrow to put the finishing touches on most of the songs, so we are almost there, and you guys will be able to hear what we have come up with very soon…

My dinner is ready now and havent eaten since Nandos, so better go eat, will check in again with you guys before the end of the week and give you an update on where we are at!
