What’s up guys.
Want to start getting replys from you all. I can see that there is heaps of activity happening so here we go. Each week I am going to write about a theme. Obviously this weeks is FOOD. Where you get it? Have you gone without it? What happens to you when you get really hungry etc.
Food is the second most important substance that you put into your body. Water being the first. It helps us think, act, feel, live. And without it or knowing where your next meal is going to come from is REALLY scary. So the point of this….. This dude named Abraham Maslow created a chart listing the hierachy of needs. What does this mean, basically, To be at the top of the pyrimad you have to achieve all the steps below. The first step is Physiological.- food, water, sex, sleep, excretion (pooing and weeing). This may seem like an easy step for most, but there is a F LOAD of people who are living on the streets and only meet one maybe two parts. To the point – food is extremly important.
I Want you all to leave a post letting me know:
What’s your favourite food? (Mine….Corned beef)
What happens to you when your hungry? (OMG I become the crankiest person in the world. I become sooo irrational over everything. The wind is blowing the wrong way, No you can’t sit like that etc)
What would you do if you didn’t have any? (When I was 16 and homeless, The Anglican Church in Bundaberg, QLD used to do hot dinners like 3 times a week, that’s where I went)
Peace
