A different kind of choice

During the Choices program, you’re presented with various scenarios involving good bad or ugly choices when involved in a dangerous situation.

What does it mean to choose to keep quiet if something’s happened? We’re told at school that telling an adult or teacher is ok, but we understand that sometimes it’s hard to fess up if you’ve seen something happen.

You might be afraid of what could happen to you, and that’s a situation people face more often than you think.

Young people living in Boston in the USA are often too scared to go to police about violence, saying that helping police officers would mark them out as targets. Teens met Boston councillors to discuss these kidns of issues recently.
