If you’re ever in the city and walk past the salvo youth bus take a look at the sticker on the back!

10 young people from the bus were apart of developing a message that would communicate the risks of carrying a weapon – one crazy night could change the rest of your life. Don’t carry weapons.

Together with the dept. of justice, knives scar lives, utility creative and the salvos the young people met over pizza and coke to share their real life experiences of having to live on the streets and dealing with friends and loved ones who get caught up in very violent and dangerous circumstances. Many shared that they have friends who have been stabbed and knew of friends who carry weapons. Each young person agreed that these actions wreck lives.

The sticker on the bus is all about the F words! It highlights the negative impact it has on the individual who carry’s a weapon and what they potentially loose in the process.
Young people shared that fines and getting locked up wasn’t as bad as loosing friends, family and your freedom to a dumb decision.
